The Steven and Michele Kirsch Foundation considers California environmental issues – such as air quality in the San Joaquin Valley and mobile source pollution – of critical importance given the number of adults, children and communities affected by air pollution. Since governments, through laws and regulation, significantly determine the amount and type of progress that is made to address these issues, we engage in both lobbying and grantmaking.
